God's Ever Present Comfortby carolyn singleton on 02/18/12
Last December I learned that I have a brain tumor. Hearing my doctor utter the words seemed surreal but a welcomed confirmation of answered prayer. The reason for my years, decades of suffering from poor health was revealed. My reaction at first upon hearing the medical report of being diagnosed with a brain tumor was not upsetting. I had this peace in my heart and my faith in God,( my savior) assured me in an instant that 'All is well!' My family took the news well and stated that beyond a doubt they received the full comfort that Jesus Christ is in the midst of my well-being and life.
I did have a moment or two when I broke down with concern about my health and my doctor's urgent need to operate ASAP. In my darkess moments, God always prevailed, comforted me and never allowed me to waiver or doubt his promise to love me, guide me, comfort me, and save me.
My brain surgery is scheduled for February 21, 2012 at the Veterans Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. I would like to thank everyone for their prayers. Please remember that God loves you and his promise is to never leave us or forsake us. I trust him.
